Policies
Long Weekend Surcharge: An extra $1.00 per night per site will be charged on long weekends including:
- 22 nd May - Victoria Day weekend;
- 1 st July - Canada Day weekend;
- 1 st August - British Columbia Day weekend;
- 5 th September - Labour Day weekend.
Additional persons: 6-17 years old - $3.00 per person per night 18 and over - $5.00 per person per night All rates are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes will be added at time of registration.
Dogs: Please notice that dogs are not permitted in the lower beachside campground area or anywhere near the beach. Dogs are welcome in the upper campground. Please stay with your dog and do not allow them to roam freely throughout the campground. This could result in your being asked to leave. Always remember to pick up after your dog, Keep the park safe and clean for the children.
Cancellations: If you give less than 3 weeks notice you will lose your deposit. If you give more than 3 weeks notice there will be a $10 cancellation fee. If you need to shorten your original dates please give at least two weeks notice otherwise you will be required to pay for the total night originally booked.
Shortening of stay: Some people book reservations for two to four weeks with no intention of staying for that period of time. Once they decide which time frame they want, they just cancel the other dates with anticipation of no penalty refund. This blocks other campers from reserving their holiday stay. To be fair to all campers, if you shorten your stay by one week or more, you will be required to pay 20% fee for shortening of stay. This only applies to changes made within 60 days of first night booking.
Example:
Joe reserves 4 weeks in August 4 weeks @ $35 per
night = $980.00
Joe cancels 2 of those weeks in August ( within 60
days of first night)
Joe's cost will be $490.00 (two weeks camping),
plus + $98.00 (20%) = $588.00
